ECnet TEAMS UP WITH MARKETROOT SOLUTIONS TO LAUNCH ECSOURCE
A one-stop sourcing, procurement & fulfillment portal for its ECnet community

SINGAPORE, 12 February 2004 - ECnet Limited, a leading global provider of e-supply chain solutions and management services, today announced that it has collaborated with MarketRoot Solutions Sdn Bhd, a catalog and sales management specialist company based in Malaysia, to launch ECSource - ECnet's One-stop Sourcing, Procurement & Fulfillment Portal for its exclusive ECnet community. .

As a value-added service specially for its community, ECnet has introduced ECSource, a portal where manufacturers can easily source for suppliers through ECnet's extensive supplier community of over 1000, while suppliers enjoy an additional channel for increasing their business opportunities by reaching out to ECnet's growing manufacturing base. All suppliers are given a complimentary listing of their key information and are listed under an extensive range of product categories of their choice.

With easy to search features, manufacturers can simply source for their suppliers by comprehensive product categories, company name or even by the country listings. This effectively helps reduce their sourcing effort and cost. For suppliers that want to extend their reach to manufacturers both within and outside of the ECnet community, they have the option of subscribing to the ECSource eCatalog module, where their entire product range and details can be easily listed on the Internet quickly and cost effectively, using MarketRoot's powerful and most easy-to-use catalog and sales management solution.

This means that they can now easily set up their own "online showroom" for all manufacturers and potential customers to search 24/7. Suppliers can easily set up, manage and maintain their "online showroom" via their existing domain or through a default URL provided by MarketRoot. Through the collaboration on ECSource, MarketRoot will provide ECnet with the product search engine and will also host the eCatalog. MarketRoot will be responsible for all sales activities pertaining to eCatalog. In addition, ECnet and MarketRoot will be collaborating to provide domain expertise in their respective areas of Supply Chain Management Solutions and product cataloging management, sales management and web content management to develop joint solutions and value proposition for existing and potential customers.

This strategic partnership with MarketRoot enables ECnet to further enhance our solution offerings to our customers with capabilities like Product Catalog Management, Online Search & Ordering, Purchase Requisition (PR) Management and Request for Quotation (RFQ) Management with Catalog Requirement in phases. This effectively empowers our customers with the ease of sourcing and managing their purchasing activities, said Mr. Daniel Lu, Sales Director, ASEAN, ECnet Limited. Mr. Lu added, "With the launch of ECSource, ECnet offers our ECnet community the ability to easily source and procure their products while enabling the suppliers to increase their business opportunities." "We are very pleased to be working with ECnet to complement each other's solution offerings in the areas of supply chain management, product cataloging and sales management. Considering the few recent unfortunate global events, and the fact that businesses must go on and continue to carry on, we believe that the time is now right for Asian companies to embark on a different approach to maintain and source for existing and new customers and the Internet offers the fastest and most efficient opportunities for companies to communicate, market and showcase their product globally. This joint co-operation will certainly yield tangible benefits for both our customers," said Mr. Lee Kian Seng, Director, MarketRoot Solutions Sdn Bhd.

ECnet ACQUIRED BY GLOBAL IT OUTSOURCING COMPANY - R SYSTEMS, INC.

SINGAPORE, 28 January 2004 - ECnet Limited, a leading global provider of e-supply chain solutions and management services, today announced that it has been officially acquired by R Systems, Inc., a global information technology outsourcing company based in US and India. Since the completion of the acquisition in early January 2004, ECnet has become a subsidiary of R Systems, under its existing trademark name "ECnet".

Headquartered in India, R Systems provides core global outsourcing services in areas like Information Technology, Consumer Finance and Back Office Support to various industry verticals. It has been named by Inc. 500 as America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies for three consecutive years and has also been assessed Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 5, which represents the top two per cent of software development organisations globally. Only 53 other India-based companies are assessed at CMM Level 5 and less than 100 companies worldwide hold this level of maturity.

Through this acquisition, it will create greater synergy for both companies to leverage on each other's strengths in the areas of client resources, trade channels, business markets and technology so as to successfully develop and implement eSCM initiatives both in Singapore and internationally. The acquisition will allow ECnet to tap on R Systems' expertise on enterprise solutions, global reach and its talent pool of 800 employees. Reciprocally, R Systems can readily develop a SCM practice and effectively penetrate Asia's manufacturing industry through ECnet's established eSCM solutions and world-class clientele.

"We're truly excited and honoured to be working with R Systems, a company that has grown rapidly over the past few years, with an impressive track record. Since 1995, ECnet, a pioneer in the supply chain management arena, has built a strong presence across Asia. With the financial and technical backing from R Systems, we look forward to tapping the synergies between R Systems and ECnet, to enable a greater level of excellence in the solution offerings to our customers. At the appropriate time, ECnet will extend its presence into US and India through R Systems' strong client reach," said Mr. Peter See, President and CEO, ECnet Limited.

"This latest acquisition of ECnet supports R Systems' strategy of consolidating our presence in South East Asia and extending our outsourcing services in this region. We feel that ECnet's business strategy is a good fit with what we're looking for. We were looking to acquire a well-established company that provides innovative and collaborative solutions with the ability to meet the diverse needs and changes of today's challenging business environment… we found that in ECnet. Acquiring ECnet is an excellent platform for R Systems to extend its foray into the other parts of Asia, where ECnet has a strong presence," said Mr. Rekhi Singh, President and CEO, R Systems, Inc.

"We've very good rapport with ECnet's management team and we're very excited about the company's plans. We're confident that with R Systems' support and ECnet's capable and professional team, ECnet will be able to further develop the suite of ECnet products and solutions to continue to serve its customers without compromise," said Mr. Singh.

Mr. See added, "R Systems' acquisition of ECnet will serve to strengthen our capability and leading position in the eSCM industry. We're very committed to delivering innovation and value to our customers, through consistent, reliable and industry leading edge solutions."

The acquisition of ECnet by R Systems has been completed in January 2004. Mr. Peter See remains as ECnet's President and Chief Executive Officer and will also be heading R Systems' thrust into the Asia Pacific region. ECnet will continue to be headquartered in Singapore, with presence in US, China, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand.

ECNET SIGNS MOU WITH HAISAN'S SUBSIDIARY - IGLO (M) SDN BHD TO BRING SCM SOLUTIONS TO THE FULFILLMENT OF "COLD CHAIN" LOGISTICS

Singapore , 20 August 2002 - ECnet Limited, a global provider of collaborative supply chain solutions and management services, and Iglo (M) Sdn Bhd, an independent regional 3rd Party Service Provider for Temperature Controlled Logistics, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to jointly offer the two companies' core solutions in the engagement of business opportunities in Malaysia and the region.

Through this partnership, Iglo, a subsidiary of KLSE-listed Haisan Resources Berhad, will be able to leverage on ECnet's proven supply chain solutions and expertise, to strengthen their value proposition to existing and new business initiatives. ECnet's solutions enable more than 1,400 customers to facilitate collaboration with their customers, suppliers and logistics service providers.

Similarly, it enables ECnet to tap on Iglo's strengths and expertise in the area of cold supply chain fulfillment, in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and Retail verticals, with about 95% of Iglo's business coming from the food industry. Cold Chain logistics requires the product to be maintained at the optimum "low temperature environment", both in storage and in transit. Such stringent requirements ensure that the product is delivered at the final leg of the supply chain in the pre-specified condition - safe and ready for consumption.

Currently, Iglo is the temperature controlled supply chain service provider for Unilever Walls in Malaysia, the Philipines and China. Iglo is responsible for managing and operating logistics activities for its ice-cream products. Other customers include major global food manufacturers. Iglo is also able to provide storage for electronics, pharmaceutical and "halal food" chemicals products with storage temperatures ranging from +20°C down to - 28°C accordingly.

"ECnet today helps organisations to reduce time to market, operate more efficently and most importantly, get closer to their customers and trading partners. This strategic alliance with Iglo will allow ECnet to offer an even more compelling business proposition for all our customers, giving them a competitive edge. The joint solution from ECnet and Iglo will be capable of ensuring that the optimal inventory is kept at the right place and in the ideal environment, both in storage and in transit, as well as maintain optimum stock quantity with closely monitored inventory turnaround. With ECnet's solution and Iglo's "low temperature" infrastructure, we offer customers a flexible and dynamic distribution and replenishment solution. We look forward to a long and enriching working relationship with Iglo, whereby both parties collaborate to develop and offer solutions and business propositions to the FMCG and retail companies," said Mr. Ling Wee Seng, Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, ECnet Limited.

Mr. Raymond A. E. de Graaf, CEO, Iglo (M) Sdn Bhd said, "As a specialist in the provision of low temperature controlled operations, we see a tremendous potential as an independent 3rd Party Logistics provider. However, this niche market segment requires substantial investments for the establishment of a network of MTCF's (Multiple Temperature Controlled Facility) & CWDC's (Central Warehouse & Distribution Center). Through this collaboration, it enables both parties to leverage on each other's strengths and to provide value-added solutions and services to our new and existing customers, enabling them to have a seamless integration and closer trading partner relationships. We are confident that this partnership will lead to greater mutual opportunities and benefits."

ECNET LAUNCHES EC .Raedé - THE eSCM SOLUTION FOR SMIs
EC .Raedé to help SMIs rapidly deploy a cost effective eSCM solution to achieve greater collaboration with partners, suppliers and customers

KUALA LUMPUR , 30 May 2002 - ECnet Malaysia, a wholly owned subsidiary of ECnet Limited, today unveiled EC.Raedé, its latest solution for the fast growing Small and Medium Sized Industries' (SMIs) market in Malaysia. ECnet is a global provider of e-supply chain solutions and management services.

SMIs in Malaysia have low adoption rate in deploying IT solutions in their business processes due to a fear of complexity in IT technology, high implementation cost, incomprehensive understanding of the value of IT solutions and skill sets. The government has done a lot of promote and encourage SMIs to venture into IT investment to e-enable their business operations so as to compete globally. EC.Raedé is an eSupply Chain Management (eSCM) solution that is built with the particular needs of Malaysia's SMIs in mind. Through EC.Raedé, the SMIs are able to optimise their mission critical business operations in a cost effective and non-intrusive manner.

"Our solutions are built from the ground up with SMI sector in mind and this includes taking into consideration issues like cost effectiveness, reliability, optimum flexibility and support for the core processes that an SMI would really need," said Mr. Daniel Loh, Vice President, Global Sales, ECnet Limited.

ECnet believes that Supply Chain Management is now more than ever before, critical for the SMIs who intend to compete and dominate their markets. This is expecially true for manufacturing companies as SCM tools enable them to extend information and cooperation throughout their value chain.

According to Mr. Loh, Malaysian SMIs can sharpen their competitive edge and globalise their businesses by linking themselves to key suppliers, partners and customers -- many of whom already demand that these SMIs be able to link their core processes to their own internal procurement systems.

These core processes include Forecase Management, Purchase Order Management, Delivery Logistics Management and Financial Mangement, all of which are available immediately with the EC.Raedé solution.

EC.Raedé's key features include common access through any standard web browser, cost conscious and customisable deployment options, the incorporation of best practices in the design and implementation of the solutions, and the ability to grow with the company's needs.

"When our customers increase in size and reach, then we can grow qith them as EC.Raedé is able to scale up to the complete ECnet 3.0 Pro Solution. This in turn allows them peace of mind as far as ROI on investments are concerned as they're getting excellent returns from day one and are protected in terms of upgrades and extensibility of the solution," said Mr. Loh.

He added that today's fast-paced and highly competitive business environment had motivated SMIs to be more active in looking for a cost effective solution that could help them to streamline their business processes, and manage their information more efficiently.

"We believe that the introduction of EC.Raedé fills a gap in the market as other solutions were built for large MNCs and scaled down - we're building with the SMIs in mind and scaling it up to our full enterprise solution," Mr. Loh added.

EC.Raedé will be officially launched in Malaysia on 6 June 2002, Thursday at the Sheraton Subang. To register, please visit http://www.ecnet.com/news/news-events.html.

EC.Raedé is available immediately and more information can be found at www.ecnet.com.

PIONEER ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY ASIA CO. CHOOSES ECNET'S E-SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT SOLUTION FOR ITS IPO OPERATIONS.
ECnet chosen to provide greater supply chain visibility

SINGAPORE, 7 NOVEMBER 2001 - ECnet Limited, a global provider of e-supply chain solutions and management services for the manufacturing industry, today announced that leading manufacturer, Pioneer Electronics Technology Asia Co. (PTA) has selected ECnet to deploy its e-supply chain management (SCM) solution for its International Procurement Office (IPO) operations.

Pioneer Electronics Technology Asia Co. is part of the Pioneer Electronics Asiacentre Pte. Ltd. (PAC), where Pioneer is well known for being a leader in consumer and industrial audio visual products and car electronics products. Pioneer is also a key player in offering state of the art technology, which includes digital video disc (DVD), plasma display technology, digital satellite broadcasting technology and car navigation systems. PTA's role within Pioneer is to oversee the operations of the production administration, international procurement and design centre for PAC.

"We recognise that we are in a competitive market and we want to focus on lowering our production costs whilst optimising our supply chain management through the provision of e-enable business processes. We believe that ECnet's e-supply chain management solution would be able to provide us with greater supply chain visibility and speed of information essential for both PTA and our suppliers," said Mr. Masayuki Hasegawa, General Manager, IPO Division, Pioneer Electronics Technology Asia Co. Mr Hasegawa is relating to its IPO operations where it involves functions such as sourcing, procurement, inventory management, consignment to contract manufacturers, and the sales of production parts to the related customers. Since going live on 5 October 2001, PTA has been enjoying a paperless working environment as most of its processes are now web-based. At the same time, it allows for real time response and collaboration with its suppliers, achieving greater visibility across its supply chain.

Prior to implementing ECnet's eSCM solution, PTA depended on manual processes such as mailing and faxing to disseminate Purchase Orders (POs) to their suppliers. The suppliers' incoming shipment could not be closely monitored since there was no mechanism to track the expected delivery against actual delivery.

"With the implementation of ECnet's IPO solution, we are confident that this would help PTA reduce their manual and paper-based processes. As a result, this leads to time and cost savings, error reductions, increased productivity for its staff and suppliers and also allow them to focus on exception handling. This level of collabration with trading partners enchances the relationships and enables a manufacturer to gain competitive edge and grow their business to a new level," said Mr. Ling Wee Seng, Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, ECnet Limited.

Mr. Ling added, "With faster response time of trading partners to PTA's orders, this would in effect increase their information accuracy and also help automate their purchasing process. This ECnet IPO solution could also facilitate PTA in having an organized central resource of information, visible for all parties like managers, buyers, suppliers and contract manufacturers to conduct transactions."

Pioneer Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (PTM), another subsidiary of Pioneer Electronics Asiacentre Pte. Ltd. (PAC) is already currently using ECnet since July 2001. PTM is a customer of PTA.
